This is a professor, so glad you can pick us up this week.

This week we're going to continue with the second set of this pretty good audience recording

of the Grateful Dead performing at the Greek theater in the University of California Berkeley

September 12th 1981

Really a great show

The band comes out with a second set and are really firing on all civil winners.

It's a great Scarlet Begonius to open a set.

Rather unlike most that you hear, I mean it's almost self-contained. Jerry does some wonderful

explorations in here as does all the band. They transition into a fire on the

mountain which is a little bit more up-tempo than some also kind of

spacey avant-garde is one way I've heard it described to this whole set and I think

you'll really enjoy this introductory scarlet fire on set two.

C.C. Rider follows, it's maybe a bit misplaced, but it's rockin and kind of interesting

you can finally hear Brett properly on this one.

Estimated Prophet follows.

Into Eyes of the World, the Eyes of the World again is a spacey production.

Goes really nicely into space, dissolves into that at the end of it.

Drums follows rather a little bit, perhaps a little shorter than some, but still it's quite nice. They go into then not fade away

into war frat a great ballad in that position into a round and round into one more

Saturday night they come back for a double encore it's all over now baby blue and While it's an audience tape and it doesn't have quite the fidelity of some soundboards, I think it's still kind of fun to listen to and I hope you enjoy it.
