Hello, welcome the Dead Pod for the week of August 6, 2010. This is a professor. I'm so glad you could pick us up this week.

I'm always, I don't know, sometimes I'm at a loss for what to play for anniversary times like this. Of course, it's hard to believe it's been 15 years since we've had the pleasure of seeing the Grateful Dead play, but for whatever reason I decided this year that I was going to pull out something from 1995.

And those of you who are fans of the Dead Pod, no, I don't play that year very often.

Jerry's decline is pretty evident in most of these tapes, but the show I'm going to play this week

I think is one of the top ones from that year.

This comes to us from February the 21st 1995, a show they played out in Salt Lake City, Utah.

And it's quite a good, quite an interesting show.

It starts out with We breaks out Salt Lake City.

This is, I think, it's a third of a three-show run out there.

And he busts out Salt Lake City, does it up really quite nicely.

Then friend of the devil, Wang dang-Doodle, a nice Tennessee Jed. Phil comes

out with a song I really enjoyed that he brought out in the last year or two broken arrow.

Black-throated wind is quite well done. Then Jerry comes out with

so many roads and the set closes with the music never stopped. We'll hear the

second set next week which contains some fabulous music as well.

I don't have to, sometimes I get an itch for some later day Jerry.

While the beauty is, while the sets themselves may not be as strong as a lot of years, undoubtedly

not as strong as early dead, there's a crystalline beauty to some of the jerry's playing in this

last year or two that's, it stops me and I really enjoyed. I hope you do too.
