Summary

Here is the second set of the Grateful Dead's performance at the Glen Falls Civic Center in Glen Falls New York on May 8th, 1980. This set displays the same energy as the excellent first set, starting off with an unusual 'Uncle John's Band' opener. Estimated->Eyes follows, certainly not an unusual combination, but nevertheless Garcia makes the transition worth listening to. The Truckin' into Stella Blue is also very sweet and sad.. lovely. The set ends with some of their favorite rockin' numbers, an unusual Johnny B Goode set closer (instead of an encore).

0:06.5	This week we get to hear the second set from the band's performance up at the Glen Falls Civic Center

0:15.2	Uncle John's band starts out the second set. It's quite nicely done.
0:18.3	Jerry's got a unusual solo. This doesn't sound like a usual version of Uncle
0:22.2	Johns. I think you'll like it.
0:23.2	It goes into estimated then Eyes of the World, both well played, standard
0:27.6	standard set list so far, but still very well played. Drums is quite nice,

0:34.8	follows, Stella Blue very nicely done. The boys then go into a rock and around and
0:39.1	around. Johnny Be Good closes set to they come back with a US Blues encore.
0:44.0	Could not you know this might not be the best second set of 1980 but it's well played
