Summary

Here we are on what would have been Jerry Garcia's 72nd birthday.. whew .. hard to imagine how much music he would have produced had he stuck around these last 19 years.

We get to share what we have, and this week that is the second set from the Grateful Dead's performance at the Greek Theater in Berkeley California on July 15th, 1988.

We start out with a great choice for a summer night, Scarlet->Fire... the transition is perhaps not as long as some, but there's plenty of energy here.. that energy builds with a rockin' Man Smart, Woman Smarter.. Ship of Fools follows and slows the tempo down but the band goes into Estimated->Drums->Space->Miracle which are all quite well played. The Wheel follows and then Brent leads the band into an excellent Gimme Some Lovin'. Jerry closes the set with a charged Morning Dew.. The lowpoint of the set is the encore, where Bobby is quite off key but well, no one is perfect right?

0:10.8	And while we take a minute to ponder that, we're going to play the remainder of this fine show that took place back on July 15, 1988 at the Greek theater, one of the band's favorite venues, University of California, Berkeley, California.
0:25.0	Starts out with a real nice scarlet fire, always a favorite.
0:28.0	The transition is a little shorter than maybe some people would like, but still very, it hits some real high notes and the bands
0:34.1	it displays a lot of energy there the next next they go into a rousing man
0:38.8	smart woman smarter Brent really leads that charge quite well. A very good ship of fools.
0:43.7	That estimated profit into drums and space, into I need a miracle. All done pretty well.
0:48.4	The wheel is quite nice. Goes into Give Me Some Loving.
0:51.8	Brent takes a couple of tries before he gives us that famous Hammond intro to this one,
0:56.4	but when he does it sounds sweet.
0:58.0	He does a real nice job on this tune.
1:01.0	And then they wind up set two with Jerry doing a great morning do. They come back for an
1:06.5	encore, Bobby sings, turn on your love light, he is a bit off key at times during this so watch for that unfortunately but all and all a
