Hello and welcome the Dead Pod for the week of July the 6th, 2012.

This is Professor I'm said whoad could pick us up this week.

This week's Dead Pod features the second set from a great performance the Dead

put on on June 27th, 1985 at the Saratoga Performing Arts Center in Saratoga, New York.

We're going to hear set to tonight, which is quite interesting.

Starts out with a really nice feel like a stranger.

In the Eyes of the World, a nice interesting second. nice,

feel like a stranger, into Eyes of the World, a nice interesting second song

selection into going down the road, feeling bad.

That three, those three songs I think are really the highlight is set to in a lot of ways

really nice songs into I man smart women smarter then drums in space

sort of an average trucking into spoonful which is done quite nicely into a song which you either love or

hate which is Black Peter. I rather like Black Peter and think they do a good job of this

one. In Love Light, which is a quite nice way to end set two.

They come out for a double encore.

Johnny Be Good, which loses its way a little bit, but then a really nice.

It's all over now, Baby Blue closes out set two. I think this is quite above average for a summer 85 set and hope

you enjoy it as much as I do. Hope you had a safe and happy 4th of July. We head into really the hardest summer now. I hope you are

staying cool and everything is going well for you. It's so glad you could pick up the

dead pod this week. Thanks so much for your support. We couldn't put on the dead pod without it.
