Hello, welcome to Deadpott for the week of May 11th, 2018.

This is a professor, so glad you could pick us up this week.

I originally had picked out a different show for us for this week.

There's a lot of great shows in May, but upon listening to it,

I decided that it just wasn't as good as the show I'm going to present.

This show, of course, comes to us from that magical year, 1973. This one comes

to us from Campus Stadium, University of California, Santa Barbara, May 20th, 1973. Now, this was back

when the dead played for three or four hours. So this one is going to take more than two deadpods

to present, because this is a three-set show. we're going to play set one this week

however it starts out with a good bertha me and my uncle follows and it's a hot

one box of rain with Phil Dill follows looks like rain really nice version

Tennessee Jed a week late but still quite topical the the race is on, follows.

Chinatat Indu, a nice jam, into, I know you ride her follows,

beat it on down the line.

They love each other, one of those early versions,

which sounds so good, and then they close with an almost 19-minute version of playing in the band.

There are a couple of cuts there, nothing too serious.

I think it won't affect your enjoyment

of this show. Jerry's really, well, it's a young band. The band's excited. They're playing great.
