This is a professor, I'm so glad you could pick us up this week.

This week we're going to listen to the second set from this fabulous audience recording

of The Grateful Dead at the Frost Amphitheater October 10th, 1982.

It starts off with a really pretty playing in the band going into some outrageous crazy fingers.

I really like Jerry goes nuts on this. I think you really like it. The rest of the second

sets quite good. I know you're going to really enjoy it, but look in particular to the

not fade away Black Peter, really fine renditions of those two.

And it ends with a really hard charge in sugar magnolia,

and then a double encore, which I guess is an indication that the band was pretty satisfied with their performance that day.
