Summary

An unusual second set setlist and an unusual guest highlight this week's Deadpod from February 12, 1989 in Los Angeles.

Following an opening 'Iko, Iko', Bob breaks out 'Monkey and the Engineer' for the final time, although it sounds a bit different than in the past due to Bob's different timing of the verses. 'Alabama Getaway' follows, another unusual second set choice, then again, 'Dire Wolf', if with a bit of a ragged chorus.A nice version of 'Cassidy' follows, then 'Stuck Inside of Mobile With the Memphis Blues Again' - with Dylan adding some vocals when Bobby 'forgets' in the middle of the song..

An interesting 'Other One' follows post-drums, with a Kodo drummer adding some intensity, but it is a bit shorter than usual.. 'Stella Blue' follows and flows into a set closing 'Foolish Heart'. A nice double encore follows, with Dylan taking the vocals for 'Knockin' On Heaven's Door'..

0:06.6	This week we continue with a really different second set from the band's performance on February
0:11.9	12th, 1989 at the Great Western Forum in Inglewood, California.
0:17.0	This set's unique. Bob Dylan joins them for the entire pre-drum segment,

0:25.1	to strumming on the guitar a little bit
0:27.3	until we get stuck inside of Mobile

0:30.9	when he joins in a little bit on vocals. But it's a very unusual set. They
0:36.2	open up with Ico Ico, then an unusual version of Monkey and the Engineer happens to be the final

0:45.4	differently. He waits a measure before he comes on with the big locomotive and sounds a little
0:50.6	bit odd. But nevertheless, it's really nice to see you hear it again.

1:00.0	All these before the Stuck Inside Imm Mobile with the Memphis Blues again.
1:04.4	Very unusual set list for a second set and hope you enjoy it.
1:09.1	Drums and Space follows. Then they go into a very interesting other one.
1:14.2	They have a Koto drummer on the other one.
1:18.7	It sounds quite interesting.
1:19.8	It's a little bit short.
1:21.2	Goes into a nice Stella Blue, and then they close a set with a foolish heart.
