Hello and welcome the Dead Pod for December 15th 2017. This is a professor so glad you could pick this up this week.

Boy it's hard to believe we're getting close to the end of the year next week will be the Christmas show.

But this week I've got a real special way to kind of lead you into the holidays.

This is a one set recording, or at least we only have the one set in soundboard format, of the

band's performance at Boston Music Hall in Boston, Massachusetts, December 1st, 1971.

What a fine performance this one is.

It starts out with a great Ramble on Rose, me and Bobby McGee fellow's big boss man.

Then we get into some real meat here.

Cryptical envelop and into drums into one of the best other ones you'll ever hear.

Into me and my uncle real shortly and then back into another verse of the other one. You'll really like that.

They end it with a spectacular not fade away going into going down the road, feeling bad,

into not fade away. I know you're going to enjoy this folks. This is Prime Grateful

Dad and I think I can't think of a better way to spend a cold winter's day

than to snuggle up listen to this.
