Summary

This week we bring you the historic second set from the Dead's performance on Holloween night, 1991 in Oakland California. This one is powerful, dark at times, rocking at times. Very introspective I think. A great 'Scarlet->Fire' leads it off, followed by Bobby on Truckin' and Spoonful. The Dark Star is the heart of the matter of course, wonderful flights of imagination and highlighted by Ken Kesey's eulogy for Bill Graham. Words that resonate today. The Last Time is a great choice coming out and then a personal favorite 'Standing on the Moon'. The rest of the set includes a 'Throwin' Stones' (was this misplaced?) and then the great 'Not Fade Away'.Jerry celebrates the day with a Werewolves encore!

0:20.1	This is really a historic set, starts out with a nice scarlet fire.
0:23.6	Into trucking, which is typically weird messes up the lyrics a little bit, not too bad.
0:28.4	A good spoonful follows quite nicely done, and then they go into a dark star one which not as rare in these days but this is a nice long one quite nice if in the middle of this is with Gary Duncan on guitars and you'll probably recognize his the There's a great eulogy that Ken Keys he delivers for Bill Graham and probably also for his son who also died fairly recently back then
0:59.5	Lots of wisdom there for today as well as for that.
1:03.5	Drums follows, nice long drums in space,
1:07.8	which fit the mood of the proceedings.
1:10.7	Dark Star comes back for a short
1:19.4	reprise then the last time follows. After that, a great standing on the moon. This is one I don't get the play often enough and I always enjoy hearing Jerry Singh standing on the moon.
1:25.1	Throwing stone fowls in to not fade away to close set two. They come back with Halloween of course
