Summary

This week's Deadpod features this fine second set from October 21st, 1983 from the Centrum in Worcester MA. While the Scarlet->Fire might be the highlight of this set (be sure and pay attention to the transition and to Jerry on that Fire), the Uncle John's -> Playin' is almost as great. Personally I'm a fan of the space in this set.. I think you'l hear some elements of Sage and Spirit in there and its very well played.. especially the jam into Truckin'.. Wharf Rat is always a treat for me, and the rest of the set sends the fans home dancin'..

0:06.9	We get the pleasure of listening to the second set from this wonderful show took place up at

0:18.0	I think, although you're familiar with all the songs,
0:20.0	I think the playing is done so well that you'll really enjoy this.
0:24.4	It starts out with that wonderful scarlet fire.
0:26.7	The transition between the two is particularly tasty and Jerry really does a great
0:32.1	job in the fire and the, I don't know, the crescendos there are really beautifully done.
0:39.6	They go into Uncle John's band into playing in the band, while it may not be quite as spectacular as that
0:45.2	Scarlet Fire.
0:46.2	It's very nice.
0:47.2	Goes into a wonderful drums and space, particularly listen to this space.
0:51.7	Very nicely done. I think you'll really enjoy it. One of the better
0:55.6	ones there's some sage and spirit in there and it goes into a great version of
0:59.2	truck and the transition out of space into Trucking is particularly tasty.
1:03.0	We go into a war friend, always a favorite of mine.
1:05.4	And do I need a miracle?
1:06.7	The end's second set with Touch of Gray,
1:08.4	then come back with one of my favorites, Johnny Be Good.
