Hello and welcome the Dead Pod for the week of October 26, 2007.

I'm so glad you could pick us up this week.

This is a professor as always.

First off, I want to give a big thank you to those of you who were able to

contribute during our recent fall pledge drive. Your support means so much. Thanks again

for all your help. Those of you that I owe CDs to and haven't got them out yet, I'm still

waiting for some from Rhino, but they should be here pretty soon.

So try and be patient.

I sure appreciate your support.

This week is a continuation of what we started with last week.

We're going to hear the rest of what exists of this show from the Strand Lyceum,

London, England, May the 25th, 1972. We're going to hear the last two songs of the first set, which is a beautiful Brokdown Palace,

Casey Jones, and then what exists of the second set which contains some wonderful tunes,

including a Chinatown shuffle, railroad blues ramble on rows

a wonderful uncle John's war-frat dark star

unfortunately the tape cuts after the following sugar magnolia we don't get the last oh five songs of this

set but what we have is is quite magnificent and I'm sure you're going to
