This is a professor I'm so glad you could pick us up this week.

I am glad to be back after a week's absence and

a few days in the hospital and some successful surgery on my leg.

Thanks a lot for those kind wishes that many of you sent me.

Really appreciate it.

Feeling much better, getting better every day.

So, thanks again.

Glad to be back and glad you're here this week and able to pick us up.

I thought since this last week marked Brent Midland's birthday, he would have been

55, that I'd bring you a set from a period that represents some of the time that I really enjoyed Brent's contributions to the band.

This comes to us from April 9th, 1988, the Centrum.

Worcester, Massachusetts, we will hear the first set and a couple

songs from the set's second set this week and the rest of it next week.

Starts with Big Boss Man, Walking Blues, Far From May Candyman, Uncle and New

Mexicali, Tennessee Jed, when I paint my masterpiece and deal.

Second set we're going to hear a couple of tunes including Hell in a

bucket and a wonderful Iko Iko.

Next week we'll hear the rest of this set with including a fabulous

Terrapin. I think you'll enjoy it. Thanks so much for picking us up folks and
