Summary

It's Friday the 13th, but I hope you'll feel lucky to listen to this fine second set from October 18, 1978.

The second night of the 'From Egypt with Love' run at Winterland, this set features some very strong Drums and Space, highlighted by a guest appearance from Lee Oskar, giving it a decided Egyptian feel. While Jerry flubs the lyrics to 'Terrapin Station' a fine 'Samson and Delilah' more than makes up for it. The show also has a rare set-ending 'Truckin' which is first rate.

0:09.8	performance at the Winterland Arena. October 18th, 1978. It was a Wednesday night. It was the
0:15.3	second night of the from Egypt with love run. Pretty good second set. It starts very solid. It starts
0:22.9	out with Bertha and a good loving from the heart of me in Dada Jean song Ship of Fools. They're an
0:28.3	excellent Samson and Delilah and then they go into Terrapin station and Jerry loses his way here
0:33.6	or this is a very rare kind of current where he flubs the lyrics and Terrapin what he does here
0:40.8	causes the band to get a little bit discombobulated but nevertheless it's nice to hear that it goes
0:45.9	into a good plane in the band then the highlight of the set in my opinion is the drums and space that
0:50.8	follows has Leosker appears at about four and a half minutes into drums and adds that Egyptian
0:57.7	flavor to it drums and space are both quite good into a pretty good war fret into what maybe the
1:03.6	highlight of the set could set a set closing truck and they do a great job on this one
1:09.2	goes on about 11 and a half minutes. They come back with an I need a miracle on core
1:14.9	um nice recording. I think the band's solid throughout and with the exception of the kind of
1:22.4	flubbed during Terrapin but nevertheless it's worth hearing and I hope you enjoy it. Thanks so
