Summary

Here's the great second set of the band's performance in LA on January 11th, 1978. They start with a Samson and Delilah, then we get one of the last 8 or 9 performances of 'Sunrise'. The 'Terrapin Station' that follows marks the start of the meat of this set. Following a well-played Terrapin we have a quite exploratory 'Playin' In the Band'. The drums that follows is relatively short, and then Phil joins the drummers for a nice exploration that leads into a quite tasty 'Saint Stephen'. Stephen leads into a rocking 'Not Fade Away' , which they then turn back into a Playin' reprise.

A rather unusual Passenger encore follows, marking the end to a quite well played and energetic show.

0:09.2	This week we're going to bring you the second set and it's quite a good one too from the band's performance on January the
0:14.3	11th 1978 at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles California we heard the
0:19.0	first set of this last week of course and I think you're going to like the second
0:22.1	set even more I think it's
0:23.6	quite well done. It starts out with the Samson and Delilah. Then a sunrise, a
0:28.1	song that while it's not exceptionally unusual, I still enjoy hearing.
0:34.0	Then the band hits their stride with a great version of Terrapin Station.
0:37.3	That goes into a quite energetic version of playing in the band.
0:41.2	The band then goes into a short space quite nice and exploratory I think you'll
0:47.1	enjoy it a short drums follows with with fill then they burst into a great version of St Stephen. I think it's, you'll hear the crowd's
0:57.3	happiness with that as you listen to that. It's a nice version of St Stephen into an up-tempo
1:01.7	not fade away, then dissolves ultimately into another
1:06.2	great jam which goes into playing in the band Reprise.
1:09.6	They then close the second set, come back for an unusual passenger encore to end the evening.
