Hello, I'm welcome to Dead Pod for the week of January 13th, 2017.

This is a professor, so glad you could pick us up this week.

This week we're going to bring you the second set of the Grateful Dead's performance.

On January the 2nd, 1972 Winterland Arena, San Francisco, California.

A little bit upside down on this show, the second sets a little shorter than the first,

but the highlight is undoubtedly, I think, right here at the beginning.

We start out with a good loving.

Great performance by Pigpen and the Boys goes into China Cat Sunflower,

but a short one back into good loving.

Interesting combo you'll never hear it anywhere else. Ram along

rows follow sugar magnolia. Then not fade away going down the road feeling bad

into not fade away closes set two. They come back for that one more Saturday night encore. I'm sure the folks went home happy

the band was really in the groove this night and I hope you enjoy it. I know I certainly

enjoyed last week's dead pod I hope you enjoy this one.
