Rachel vice I don't know I'm a little more scared of her after having seen season one

episode one of the Amazon prime television program dead ringers this is ostensibly an

adaptation of the 1988 David Kronenberg film dead ringers starring Jeremy Irons yeah and it's

another one of those situations where like dead ringers is a movie that was not a huge hit

no critically it did well it as far as like body horror goes like Kronenberg does put some

body horror in it but it's not like besides like one scene it's not like Kronenberg monster people

I was I was saying like knowing that it was Kronenberg every time something a little off was

happening I was like oh don't be crazy where's the monster first coming yeah it is one of his

relatively more down to earth movies and he is not involved with this whatsoever this is

uh being showrun by Alice Birch who did the Sally Rooney adaptations uh normal people and

conversations uh with friends okay and now it is one of those weird uh mini series where it's like

nobody asked for a dead ringers mini series starring Rachel vice is the mantle twins

but now that we've got it I gotta say I'm loving it it does feel like the end of the sort of

zero interest rate all streaming service war where every service is just dumping like hundreds
