So we invited our friends, detectives Dan and Dave to sit down with us and share their

most interesting cases.

Dave investigates sex crimes and child abuse.

Dan investigates violent crimes and together we've worked on hundreds of cases including

assaults, robberies, murders, burglaries, sex abuse and child abuse.

Names, locations and certain details of these cases have been altered to protect the privacy

of the victims and their families.

This case begins when a small town police agency received a 911 call from a concerned employee

at the District Attorney's Office.

The employee called to report that Roberto Sanchez, who was doing court that morning for

sentencing regarding a domestic abuse charge against his wife Sonia, was a no-show.

Given the nature of Roberto's crime and the fact that Sonia had a restraining order against

him, the DA's office became worried about Sonia's welfare.

When the employee called Sonia at work to check on her, she was told that Sonia had not

shown up that day.

The employee immediately called Sonia's home, whereupon she discovered that Roberto was

there and preventing Sonia and the children from leaving.

The DA's office immediately called the police.
