As is the case with language though, as time goes on, meanings evolve, things become mixed up and they are used in different ways.

Now if you look up the phrase online now it becomes linked with several other phrases that aren't necessarily

originating in the same way. For example, a dead man walking is a person who is alive but

their fate is already sealed. It's only a matter of time before they are dead. So if

you combine the two then you may have a threat you're walking in dead man's shoes,

your days are numbered.

but considering how integral this title is
