He's a former congressman. His name is Jason Altmeyer, and he wrote a book back in 2017.

The title of the book is Dead Center, How Political Polarization Divided America and what we can do about it.

And Congressman Altmeyer served three terms in the United States House of Representatives from 2007 to 2013.

And during his time in the office, the nonpartisan National Journal calculated Altmire's voting record to be at the exact midpoint of the House or the dead center.

That's the title, giving him the most centrist voting record in Congress.

So he had a very interesting time. This is a first person accountrist voting record in Congress. So he had a very interesting time.
