Big deal today. Special agent retired. Steven Murphy, one of the main main guys that helped

track down and eventually capture the elusive drug kingpin Pablo Escobar, a story that so

many people have been fascinated, captivated by still to this day, like we're all enthralled

and obviously a team of other agents and Colombian police as well. The story, like I said, captured

so many people, eventually inspired the hit series Narcos on Netflix, which I have not

missed a single frame of. You guys wrote a co-wrote a book, Man Hunters, How We Took Down,

because as a kid, there's something about when you learn stories as a kid. I have to say,

I'm sure it's not thrilling to hear from your part, but as a kid, I'm like, man, this Escobar

guy sounds pretty cool. He's got a zoo, and he's got a bunch of chicks and cocaine and money,

like, yeah, he's living it up. Tom, we're probably going to have somebody stop by and talk to you

a little later, so don't resist, okay? Okay, okay. But yeah, and then as you grew up, you're like,

oh, he's actually not that cool of a guy. Now, I think one of the things that, like, so I have

a friend of mine who's a Colombian who grew up a Colombian and left, like, after 92, 93, and that,

and I don't think people, I mean, hearing it firsthand from him, really understand how destructive

the, this cartel was to the people that inhabited, that lived in this country. I mean, it was

really an insane place to be living at that time, and you were there as an American. Yeah, you know,

DEA didn't hire me because I was real smart. We need a couple of suckers to go to Colombia. I'll
