And today I am so, so excited because I have a guest with whom I have had a parisocial relationship for some time.

I've been following her for a while.

I love her content.

She has so many fascinating things to say about style and consumerism and what we should be investing in versus what is not worth it. Like all of the many questions that we ask ourselves all the time here at TFD.

She's also, for those who know, a bit of a style icon herself and a bit of a

maven. And also I found out just in the few minutes before we started filming has many overlapping sort of backstories and histories with myself. We're actually both Maryland girls. We both lived in D.C. for a time. I actually worked in a coffee shop very close to where she lived. The stars are aligning, suffice to say.

And we have a lot of really interesting things to talk about.

First and foremost, why Pig Mommy? My dog's name is pig. Her name is Ziggy, her government name,

but it just evolved into pig. Nobody calls her Ziggy. Everyone calls her pig. She only gets called Ziggy when she's in trouble. And I made a TikTok for fun. My friend and I were joking about a username. That stuck. Now it feels like it's too late to change it, but I don't like going to networking events and having to tell 50-year-old men that my name is pig mommy that's like our

resident like investing expert here at the Financial Diet. She's a dear friend Amanda Holden, but her, like, a handle is dumpster doggy. I love her. She's the best. She talk about someone who's really into good vintage shopping. Okay, so to give just a quick bit of context for our audience.
