Hey John, big fan of the show, hope you're doing well,

thank you so much Max, I appreciate that.

Well, wondering if you saw the news that DC is no longer offering yearly subscriptions.

Actually, to be honest, my subscription ended several months ago and I have still been able to use the service, but I haven't been able to renew my subscription for some time even if I wanted to pay

Surprise that this is news now, but since it is what are your thoughts? All right, thanks a lot for sending in your question, man. And yeah, we're talking about the DC Universe streaming system again.

Let me preface this by saying this first. The DC Universe

streaming service idea I thought was a really interesting idea. You know, DC as a subset of Warner Brothers has at least

the question at the time when the announcement was, is there enough content for simply something that would fall under the DC banner to necessitate

its own standalone streaming service? I mean that was the big question, right?

Because they announced it like, oh, that's a cool idea.

But why not just have that as a part of a larger HBO.

And in particular, when they announced HBO Max, why not just make that a part of HBO Max, and we'll get to that a little bit more in a second?

So the question was, is there enough unique content?

Well, when you consider the fact that they also incorporated into it the idea of having, you know, the comics, you can also read the comics through the streaming service, that gave it a little bit more of a value
