this week DC is off. He's getting some much needed time off. He had a very busy Saturday night

so we've got Funky Ben Ascron filling in and we got a lot to talk about coming off UFC 252.

Very excited about this week's episode. I'm also excited about the NBA playoffs which kick off

on Monday. I can't consume enough NBA content these days whether it's watching the games

or listening to all the great pods here at ESPN and at the top of that list is the great hoop

collective podcast posted by the one and only Brian Winhorse, aka Wendy, one of the best minds in the

NBA world on Monday's episode. He and his guest preview the aforementioned NBA playoffs which as I

said I am very excited for. So give the hoop collective a listen but only do it after you listen

Welcome back to a brand new edition of DC and Hawani presented by Modelo Modelo Especial.

Grouped for those with a fighting spirit. That is not DC. That has been Ascron. I am Hawani,

area Hawani and as you probably know, Daniel Cormier is taking some time off. I'm fortunate for him at

the knockout his way. This past Saturday night in Las Vegas, he lost for unanimous decision to

steep a miatchuch an absolutely amazing fight back and forth. They went and went the distance. We

have so much to discuss from the fight itself to DC's future to the eye injury to steep a future

to the rest of the cards so much going on coming off of Saturday night in Las Vegas. But first off

and thank you so much for doing this. Welcome back. Yeah, I'm excited to talk about it. I watch

you at C252. Obviously, I was, you know, I think you're a real journalist. So you can't be disappointed

about the outcome. But I will say I was disappointed about the outcome. I was so ashamed for Daniel.
