On today's show, we are going to tackle DC Comics and the rumored fan sale to a group of investors

who are looking to swoop in and take the publishing from AT&T. And this has burned up the comic

book world and there is a lot of crazy information.

I'm going to walk you through the pros, the cons, and exactly why this is absolutely happening at this time.

We are going to wrap up and do a little market watch talking Wanda Vision and why this show is driving sales on trades, back issues, digital

platforms in a way that no recent comic book series property adapted work has. So we've got a lot to

cover. We're going to jump right into it earlier this week, the interwebs, the internet, the, this

Twitter, it exploded Facebook with this idea that DC Comics, someone at DC Comics has entertained

and or opened the door for a group of investors, fans described as not your average fans. These are notable people.

Saying fans is a great headline, but it's misleading. I'm a fan of DC Comics. I have lots of, you

know, friends who are fans of DC Comics. I know of ridiculously wealthy people in the entertainment business.

They are also fans of DC Comics.

So this isn't some crowdfunding.

Let's buy DC Comics.

It was specific that a group of people, and in this case, I'm going to tell you they are producers.

These are producers of entertainment.

Some is television, some is filmed, but I will not, I'm not comfortable naming names yet,

but this is the kind of situation where phones are picked up and messages are received and meetings

are taken in order to entertain the notion of would DC's publishing be up for sale?
