So what we know right now is that on the last lap of the race, Ryan Newman was he flipped and he got hit in a very vulnerable spot with his car by Corey LaJoy, who was obviously trying to finish.

He becomes three-time Daytona 500 champion, back-to-back champion.

And we do know, thankfully, so thankfully, that Ryan Newman is alive.

We've been told he's in serious condition but has non-life-threatening injuries.
