It's the Sparkle Stories podcast, and this is Elizabeth of Sparkle Stories.

So this episode comes out on Christmas Day. I don't know

that that's ever happened before. I'm sure it has, but I can't remember. And it feels very exciting.

And so Merry Christmas to those of you who celebrate Christmas. What could be better than by

featuring a collection called Martin and Sylvia's 12 days of Christmas?

They are 12 stories to track the 12 days. So this would be day one. That's why the story I have chosen is called Day 1, the Christmas Drum.

And now in this collection, Martin and Sylvia get to learn about, enjoy and

explore these 12 days of Christmas. And in this first story, you know, Christmas morning is over.

And the children are like, huh, what happens next? And then they notice something in golden wrapping

paper hiding behind the tree.

And it turns out it's a record album called The Twelve Tales of Teleport Christmas.

And it's an album of stories from Daddy's Childhood.

Now the stories going forward actually have two parts.

There's the story from the album from the Tolleyport

Christmas and then there's what the children do with it. And it starts an entirely new Christmas

tradition. So here is day one, the Christmas drum, that starts the whole collection off.
