What is your first memory of being in a courtroom?

Walking down the aisle and being put on the witness stand

and having to look at the men who killed my mother.

What do you think everyone's number one fear would be?

Drowning, but I think that's because that's my number one fear.

Actually, it's interesting that you say that

and it's obviously understandable, but the number one fear for people is public speaking.

Well, now I'm going to have to say no fair and no fair

because since this is a podcast about homicide, as soon as we were talking.

But, you know, it's interesting that you talk about public speaking

because I can completely get that.

And even as you're saying it, I come back to the first time I ever spoken to a courtroom.
