This is the postgame Hot Takes edition following the loss to Boise State,

the third season opener in a row where Florida State has opened the season with a loss.

And, yeah, we're going to spend some time. This is that, that postgame

episode where I really don't, I haven't, I haven't gone back and looked at anything yet. And

I'm just going to give you my impressions of what we saw. We did this last year. I've done this

for quite a while. And yeah, well, well, there's plenty to talk about here and plenty of, plenty of good and probably even more bad that we can talk about in this game. But, but yeah, for another season, another opening disappointment. And really, it was a, it was a, I told you all to expect early on that within the first

quarter, you'd see the difference with a well-coordinated offense and how big of a

difference, Bryles and his staff would have made that, you know, by the end of the first

quarter, it'd be like, wow, they, and that happened. And in fact, I'd said, you know, my sources were saying night and day.

Well, that became kind of the, the motto or the mantra, or the mantra from Greg McElroy in the

in this game that Florida State would win, uh, 34 to 17. I thought that was, uh, that was about the,

the score to kind of expect there.

And what do you know?

The first half ended with the score.

It was pretty close to that.

So for a half, it looked like kind of what was expected in a lot of ways.
