0:54.8	Earlier today, a second round of votes failed to give Kevin McCarthy the speaker's gavel.
0:59.9	He has now lost six separate votes in a row.
1:03.6	Tonight McCarthy, his backers and his opponents met to try to hammer out an agreement.
1:10.4	The discussions are going well and continuing.
1:12.7	But that doesn't mean they're done, that doesn't mean anything like that, but it's just
