Let's read a few verses from Luke 23, 32 through 43.

Go ahead and read all the verses together with your family when you get a chance.

Two other men, both criminals, were also let out with him to be executed.

When they came to the place called the

skull, they crucified him there, along with the criminals. One on his right, the other on his left.

Jesus said, Father forgive them, for they do not know what they're doing. Then one of the criminals

said, Jesus remember me when you come into your kingdom.

Jesus answered him.

Truly I tell you, for today you will be with me in paradise.

That's wild.

Jesus was right in the middle of two men who had done really bad things.

And he hadn't done anything wrong,

but he chose to die there on purpose for us.
