Peace be with you. Today let's pray for all parents and God parents. They have an

important role in bringing up a child who is brought into the world. Just like

the Lord was presented in the temple, our children are presented in the Church for baptism.

There, parents and Godparents take on the responsibility for bringing up a child in the faith.

So today we pray for all parents and Godparents.

We pray also for those children who have no one to present them in the church for baptism.

We pray that God will eventually bring them to his family

and that they may be welcomed with open arms. Here are the prayers for today.

Day 7. prayers for today, day seven.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Amen.

Oh Lord, Word of God, you whose glory is complete, came to us in perfect humility as a child in the womb.

Your love for us and your humility is unsurpassed and brings us to our knees in prayer and worship.

Your incarnation forever changed the world.

Glory be to the Father and to the son and to the Holy Spirit,

as it was in the beginning as now and ever shall be world without end,

Amen.

Oh Lord Infant Jesus, move us to forgive others as you forgive us. Your divine mercy is unending. We pray for your divine mercy on us and that we may participate in your mercy by forgiving others this Christmas.
