Okay we had the defensive backs today corners and safes as I mentioned and as Connor or of the MMQB pointed out

There were 10 more defensive backs invited to the combine this year compared to last year and I think like 20 compared to like

five or six years ago and that's just you know a sign of how the game is changing how

rosters are changing and really how slot corners now are considered starters in many situations.

So we'll talk about defensive backs and later on I kind of want to talk about the

number one and number two overall picks with Saekwan Barclay possibly involved and why I just

don't understand that but that's you know for about five or six minutes from now for this

moment let's talk about Jordan Thomas, Oklahoma Corner, who had a horrible 40 time.

I think it was like 466 or something like that. 464 officially, but he did something spectacular.

He ran a six to eight three cone time clearly the number one time in this crops in this classes group but then you go back and you check all defensive backs since at least 2006,

and I really think it goes for the last 20 years, that's the best time of any corner, any safety, any defensive back. And again, 628. The next

closest at his position in that time frame, a 644 by Buster Screen.

So again, consider the gap in that.

And then you go and look at all other positions.

Jeff Mayo, you remember that wide receiver from Oregon.

A 642 was previously the record and Jordan Thomas smashed it,

completely destroyed it. And then you go and look at today's three-cone times
