It is a 53 of the second Trump administration, and there is a lot happening all at once.

So let's take a breath and get started. It was another brutal day on Wall Street. The S&P is down 10% from its all-time high, which was just a few weeks ago.

The Dow NASDAQ also took heavy losses again. That is partly because

Donald Trump threatened a new 200% tariff on European wine and liquor. It is meant as retribution

after the EU issued its own retaliatory tariff on American whiskey. And on the world stage,

Putin is not ruling out a ceasefire with Ukraine, but is making

new demands that could make it a lot harder. It is worth pointing out that the person in Moscow

to meet with Putin is envoy Steve Whitkoff, longtime friend and ally of Donald Trump, while our

actual Secretary of State Marco Rubio is at a G7 meeting in Canada.

And today, the White House pulled the nomination from Dave Weldon to lead the CDC just a few hours before his confirmation hearing was set to take place.

An official says it was clear that Weldon would not have the votes because of his past comments questioning vaccines.

This, of course, comes as part of the country is dealing with a deadly measles outbreak.

Meanwhile, there is a good chance we will not face a government shutdown tomorrow night.

Chuck Schumer cleared the way for a Senate vote on the GOP funding bill,
