0:00.0	Hey Bible readers, I'm Tara Lee Cobble and I'm your host for the Bible recap.
0:07.0	Yesterday, Paul compared our bodies to jars of clay.
0:16.3	And today he continues his third letter to the Corinthians by comparing them to tents,
0:20.6	which are not very sturdy.
0:22.4	What they need is for someone to build an eternal mansion around them, our resurrection bodies.
0:27.2	Because right now, our tent bodies still suffer from the elements and from attackers.
0:31.7	God says that will happen someday.
0:33.5	In fact, inside these tents, lives the mansion maker, the spirit, and he is preparing
0:38.7	us for the mansion.
0:40.3	Remember how Jesus said he is going to prepare a place for us?
0:43.6	God also says he is working to prepare us for it.
0:47.2	God is the one who does all the prep work.
0:49.0	And part of that preparation is giving us his spirit, his guarantee.
0:52.8	In the midst of all Paul's trials, it's not death he's wishing for.
0:56.7	It's eternal life.
0:58.2	He says he'll either be alive here or be alive with Christ.
1:01.7	Because for anyone with the spirit, death is the thing we kind of step through or pass
