How is everybody feeling on this day? If you are studying with us in real time, it is November 5th,

24, a big day for those of us who are in America, United States.

An historic election that is taking place today, no matter what side of the fence you are on,

Jesus is king. He will still be king tomorrow. And so that is where I'm putting my hope.

I hope you were able to cast your vote, though, because we do have civic responsibility,

which is interesting that we are reading about that today. We read about it yesterday, hope. I hope you were able to cast your vote, though, because we do have civic responsibility,

which is interesting that we are reading about that today. We read about it yesterday whenever the authorities were questioning Jesus about paying taxes. And so I hope that you were able to

do so, no condemnation if you didn't. But regardless of who you voted for and regardless of who

gets the big win, we're going to continue to pray for our leaders because

that is what we are commanded to do, no matter who gets it. Because remember, all authority

comes from God, whether good or bad, and he puts them there for his purpose. And so we've got

to trust in that. So if you are joining us for Bible study, we are here for the Word of God. He is the

authority of this word and we are excited to get into it. This is what gives us our peace

whenever there is craziness all around us. This is what will give us our wisdom, our guidance,

our understanding, our comfort. If you need anything in this world, you can come to the Word and I assure you you will find an answer. So I'm glad that you are here.
