Peace be with you. St. Torres suffered a great deal in her life.

She lost her mom when she was a young girl.

One of her older sisters became like a second mother to her and St. Torres lost her when her sister entered a convent.

St. Torres also suffered from chronic illness and depression.

Through it all she continued to look towards Jesus. She's a great

example for all of us, a reminder to cling to Jesus through whatever each of us may be

going through right now. Today let's pray for those who are suffering.

Let's pray that we may look to Jesus, hold tightly to him during our trials,

and let's ask him that he will guide us through whatever

painful circumstances we may be experiencing. You are not alone. Jesus is

with you and we're praying for you.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, Amen.

Dearest St. Torres, you said that you would spend your time in heaven doing good on Earth.

Your trust in God was complete. Pray that he may increase

my trust in His goodness and mercy as I ask for the following petitions. State your intentions here.

Pray for me that I, like you, may have great and innocent confidence in the loving promises

of our God.
