Many of the knots in our lives are caused by sin, but Mary can untie the knot of sin.

She does it by her faith and prayers for us.

As St. Ironaeus said, the knot of Eve's disobedience was untied by the obedience of Mary, with the Virgin Eve bound by her unbelief, the Virgin Mary loosened by her faith.

Today let's pray that the Blessed Virgin Mary may, by the grace of God, untie the knot of sin in our hearts and in the world.

Meditating Mother, Queen of Heaven,

in whose hands the treasures of the king are found,

turn your merciful eyes upon me today. I entrust into your
