Peace be with you. It is our calling as Christians to make the Kingdom of Christ a reality here on earth.

Pope Benedict, speaking on the Feast of Christ the King in 2012 said,

we invoke the kingdom daily in the prayer of the Our Father

with the words, Thy kingdom come.

In effect we say to Jesus,

Lord, make us yours, live in us, gather together a scattered

in suffering humanity so that in you all may be subjected to the Father of Mercy and love.

Today let's pray for God's grace while we do this work.

Here are the prayers for today.

Day 3.

In the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Amen.

Christ, our Savior, and our King, renew and me allegiance to your kingship.

I pray for the grace to place you above the powers of this world in all things.

I pray for the grace to obey you before any civic authority.

I pray for the grace to fervently bring about your kingdom in my family and community.

Oh Prince of Peace, may your reign be complete in my life and in the life of the world.

Christ, my king, please answer these petitions
