Summary

As we continue to move through our slow build, today we begin praying four mysteries of the Rosary. Fr. Mark-Mary draws the connection between our pace, and the pace of communal prayer, reminding us that as we listen, we pray together with the community of believers, those praying through the Rosary in a Year, religious orders who pray the Rosary in community, and all Catholics praying the Rosary. Today’s focus is the mysteries of the Annunciation, the Visitation, the Nativity, and the Presentation in the Temple. We will be praying four decades of the Rosary.

So today we're making the next step in our building up the decades.

We've been on this journey of this slow build from praying one decade a day to two decades,

and we just had a series where we're playing three decades, and today we begin praying four

decades a day. As we move into four decades and then praying five decades, the whole rosary

one of the things you may notice is a slight increase in the pace with one, two, three decades.

1:17.4

I wasn't going slow, but I was going a little bit slower.

1:20.2

And so I'm going to kind of go to a little bit more of like a normal pace as we're getting

again into four and five decades.

1:26.0

And my reference point for this being a normal pace is just like the pace we pray in the friary when we're praying the communal rosary.

1:34.3

And so it might be a little slow for some people, it might be a little bit quick.

1:39.3

I think people as we're praying just by ourselves, we might go a little bit slower.

1:43.3

But in communal context, there's a little bit slower, but in communal context,

1:45.3

there's a little bit of a steady rhythm to it. And so that's kind of my reference point for the
