0:40.3	The four Gospels, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John, are narrative accounts of the life of
0:44.2	Jesus and they're primarily eyewitness accounts with the exception of Luke.
0:48.2	And while maybe Luke did see a lot of these things firsthand, he treats his role more like
0:51.9	an investigative reporter who goes around interviewing all the other eyewitnesses in order
0:56.0	to tell the story well.
0:57.6	He's kind of like the weather reporter in the rain jacket who stands in the storm talking
1:00.8	to the locals.
1:02.6	Since the Gospels are narrative and you're likely to grasp the stories, I'll spend less
1:06.4	time recapping the stories themselves and more time recapping the meaning and underlying
1:10.8	implications.
1:11.8	Each of the Gospels writers has a unique lens on who Jesus is.
