0:14.3	We've got three days of descriptions of Ezekiel's temple vision.
0:17.5	But guess what?
0:18.5	You've already got one day under your belt.
0:19.5	You're almost halfway through.
0:21.6	We made it through five chapters of Blueprints for the first temple back in Exodus, plus 18 more
0:26.4	chapters of the descriptions of building and finishing it, so I'm confident we can
0:29.8	tackle this too.
0:31.4	But before we spend another minute of these three days in this text, I want to give you
0:35.8	a heads up.
0:37.1	Ezekiel 40 through 48 is one of the most challenging sections of scripture in the whole Bible.
0:41.8	It's not as hard to read as it is to interpret.
0:45.2	Commentators are at odds on how to view this text, and I'll explain more about that as
0:48.6	we continue in the passage, but I don't want to give too much away yet, so here's what
0:52.5	we need to know for now.
0:54.6	God is giving this vision to Ezekiel in 573 BC, at a time when His people are in exile
0:59.6	in a foreign land.
1:01.3	For God to go on for nine chapters about this temple is like Him showing up and saying,
1:05.3	Hey, I know you've lost everything.
1:07.2	I know the first temple was destroyed.
