Summary

Fr. Mike reflects on the story of Susanna's righteousness in the book of Daniel. While celebrating Susanna's virtue, Daniel's wisdom, and God's faithfulness, Fr. Mike also warns us that, like the corrupt elders in the story, we too can allow our hearts to become perverted by the things we fix our eyes on. One is from Jeremiah, Jeremiah chapter 30, two are from Daniel, Daniel chapter 12 and 13, as well as the book of Proverbs chapter 16 versus 17 through 20. And I said that all in one breath. As I said, it is day 24. We're halfway through. Well, you know, Jeremiah has 52 chapters and we're on chapter 30 today. So I mean, I'm not the best at math, but we're close. As well as we have two days today and tomorrow left of Daniel. We have Daniel 12 and 13 today, and then just one chapter of Daniel tomorrow, Daniel 14. So that is good news and that's great. And gosh, you guys have to tell you today, once again, like yesterday, the readings, phenomenal.

1:11.8	So let's get started.
1:12.9	This is day 244.
1:14.1	We're reading Jeremiah 30, Daniel 12 and 13, Proverbs 16 versus 17 through 20.
1:21.2	The book of the prophet Jeremiah, chapter 30, hope for the restoration of Israel.
1:26.5	The word that came to Jeremiah from the Lord, thus says the Lord,
1:30.2	the God of Israel, write in a book all the words that I have spoken to you. For behold, days are coming,
1:35.9	says the Lord, when I will restore the fortunes of my people, Israel and Judah, says the Lord,
1:41.0	and I will bring them back to the land which I gave to their fathers, and they shall
1:44.5	take possession of it. These are the words which the Lord spoke concerning Israel in Judah. Thus says the
