It is day 217. We are reading three chapters. As a 55 and 56, Ezekiel 16,

it's the longest chapter in the book of the prophet Ezekiel. It's also a recap of God's love

for Israel as well as Israel's unfaithfulness. There are some serious images and it's prophetic

poetry. Yet God is going to compare Israel to his unfaithful bride. There's going to be

all talk of a number of PG-13 stuff. So FYI, Proverbs chapter 13 and verses 1 through 4,

as always the Bible translation that I'm reading from is the revised, entered version, second

prophet Isaiah, chapter 55, an invitation to abundant life. Oh, everyone who thirsts come to the waters

and he who has no money, come buy and eat, come buy wine and milk without money and without price.

Why do you spend your money for that which is not bread and your labor for that which does not

satisfy? Listen diligently to me and eat what is good and delight yourselves in rich food.

Incline your ear and come to me, hear that your soul may live, and I will make with you an ever
