Yesterday we finished off the book of Isaiah.

So today we are back in Second Kings, taking a look at the end of Hezekiah's life.

King Hezekiah, one of the better kings of Judah. This, of course, being a recount of what happened in Isaiah chapter 38. So we did already read through this, reading from the ESV by Crossway translation. is able to, I think she's traveling tomorrow to her sister's house or something. And as soon as she's able to do that and get back onto the worldwide web, I know she is going to work hard to make sure all of those things are remedied. So other than that, we have no other announcements. Let's go ahead and pray and jump on in.

Heavenly Father, thank you for this day. We thank you so much that you are such a good God.

And no matter what we're going through, Lord, you are still here with us. Your presence is with us.

Your peace is with us. And so we just hold on to that today. We lay down all anxieties, all worries,

all brokenheartedness, all sickness, anything, Lord, that is weighing on our hearts today. And we just breathe in a little bit of relief that we can always

get from you when we come to you. And so I just pray that you will wrap your arms around us this

morning or this evening, wherever people are, and that you will let us know that you are indeed with us

and that your presence fills our space, our homes.

We come against anything that the enemy is trying to do to distract us or to bring us down.

I pray that his plans or anything that he's trying to do will not prosper, because he is a weapon.

He is a destroyer, and he is not welcome here.

So we are going to armor up today,

Lord. We thank you so much for this reading today, a short reading, but still very powerful. And so I

pray, Holy Spirit, that you will minister to our hearts. May our eyes, ears, and spirits be ready for what
