0:13.1	Today we revisited part of the story we first read on day 206, including Hezekiah's
0:18.2	response to King Sinacarib's threats.
0:20.9	We're reminded of how humbly he responded when trebles came his way.
0:25.2	And since we've read this story before, you probably recall that after this, when he's
0:28.9	been blessed in the stockpiled fortunes and he gets to live an extra 15 years, his heart
0:34.1	arcs away from God.
0:35.8	He becomes prideful, doubts God's words, and lives somewhat carelessly.
0:40.7	One of the things we didn't touch on when we first read this story a few days ago was
0:44.5	the part where God puts a spirit in Sinacarib that will cause him to hear a lie.
0:49.0	There are a few noteworthy things about that.
0:51.4	First, God is in charge of evil spirits.
0:54.4	They're unalie-sh, and they have to do what he says and go where he commands.
0:58.0	It's comforting.
0:59.0	Second, God himself didn't mislead Sinacarib.
1:03.5	Scripture tells us repeatedly that God cannot lie.
1:07.0	Hebrews 168 says he's incapable of it.
1:09.9	It would be contrary to his character because according to John 14, one of his names is
1:14.5	the truth.
1:15.8	He is the truth.
1:17.6	But God certainly does use evil for his own purposes.
1:21.4	When Romans 828 says he works all things together for the good of those who love him,
