Hey Bible readers, I'm Tara Lee Cobble, and I'm your host for the Bible Recap.

0:12.9

Yesterday, when we left off, the leaders of Assyria had come to Judah to threaten all their people.

0:18.1

Today we see how Judah's King Hezekiah responds in light of these threats.

0:22.3

The very first thing he does in the midst of his distress is go to God. As soon as he hears the

1:20.6

deliverance not only because he desires it for himself, but also because he believes it will show

1:25.3

that Yahweh alone is the one true God.

1:28.4

He asked God to save Judah for God's sake.

1:32.3

Then a really cool thing happens.

1:34.5

Hezekiah is in the temple praying, and the next thing we know,

1:37.3

Isaiah sends him a message with God's response to that prayer.

1:40.9

This would be like, if I pray and ask God what color car I should buy, then my phone

1:45.6

rings and it's you calling to say, hey, God told me to tell you silver with black interior,
