0:07.0	Okay Bible readers, it's time for our weekly check-in.
0:16.4	We've read a lot of new names, new places, and strangely worded prophecies this week,
0:21.2	so I just want to remind you, there will not be a quiz.
0:24.4	If you were to tell me the name of a king and ask me which kingdom he ruled over, it'd
0:27.4	be a good chance I'd have to guess.
0:29.6	So this is just your weekly reminder that understanding all these details on your first or
0:35.2	50th pass through scripture isn't the point.
0:38.0	The point is, what are you learning about God and His character?
0:41.6	Are you seeing more of Him?
0:42.9	Are you delighting in Him more?
0:45.0	If so, thank Him and if not ask Him for help.
0:49.6	He can open your eyes and He can change your heart.
0:52.3	But Jehovah has not so much, whoever that is.
0:56.6	Today we're back in the narrative section of scripture in a time that overlaps with the
1:00.2	prophecies we're reading.
1:01.8	These prophecies are being delivered during this time frame and many, but not all of them
1:06.2	are being fulfilled during this time frame as well.
1:10.0	Another portion of the prophecies were fulfilled after this time period, like the birth of the
1:14.0	Messiah for instance, and some have yet to be fulfilled, like the Messiah coming back to
1:19.6	reign in peace on the new earth.
1:22.4	Or today though, we're stuck in the final days of the kingdom of Judah.
