0:00.0	Day 195 of Heart Dive 365. I'm your Bible study friend Kanoi. Welcome to the Heart Dive podcast.
0:12.5	Well, I know a lot of us are waking up this morning to what feels like a nightmare. You know,
0:18.0	as we see the tumultuous state of our nation, a lot of us were just in tears
0:22.8	yesterday on our knees in prayer and our hearts are broken, you know, that this political divide
0:28.5	has caused so much hatred that it is leading to desperation and desperate means in taking other people's
0:35.9	lives. So it doesn't matter what side of the political fence you are on.
0:40.3	What happened yesterday is just pure evil.
0:43.8	Because one person's life, president or not, is not more valuable than another.
0:49.0	But whenever leadership is targeted, that mirrors the society that we are living in. And I do not think
0:56.5	it is a coincidence that we are studying and what we are studying lines up with what we're going
1:01.6	through today. Our prayers have been aligned with this very thing. I don't know if you've noticed,
1:06.4	but Holy Spirit has been moving in our hearts to pray for our nations. It is not an accident.
1:12.3	So that is what we are going to continue to do because it does no good to sit and discuss
1:17.3	and fuel even more hatred within ourselves or with other people because we are the salt of the
1:23.2	earth. So fueling division is not our call. Our call is to fight for unity under the banner of Christ
1:30.8	and through prayer. So that's what we're going to do. We're going to start off with prayer right
1:34.7	here before we get into God's word. So Almighty God, we look to you and only you today, as we need
1:41.7	you more than ever. While we know that nothing takes place without your stamp of
1:46.7	approval or going across your desk, we know that you are sovereign over every life and every
1:52.3	nation, but evil will still persist, because there are some who are choosing to follow the Prince
1:58.4	of Darkness. So we stand together today in unity, under the banner of our Prince of Peace, the light of
2:05.7	the world.
