0:12.3	Starting a brand new book today, the book of Amos, one of the prophets from Techoa or from Judah.
0:18.6	And what's interesting is that he is from Judah, but he is sent to the
0:22.6	northern tribes of Israel to speak a word of judgment or warning against them. And this is during
0:28.3	the reign of Uzziah in the south and Jeroboam the second in the north, a time of prosperity
0:34.3	for Israel. So they probably aren't expecting much of a word of warning from
0:38.7	any of the prophets. But even though they are successful in their wealth and their riches and
0:44.1	there's relative peace in the region, they are still spiritually decayed. So we're going to be reading

2:01.2	Thank you for helping us to just get a glimpse of that through your word and for allowing
2:05.2	your Holy Spirit to dwell within us so we can just feel a little bit of what we are going
2:10.3	to experience in heaven.
